The Astrology of Relationships: Why My Work Is Shifting

Filed under Reflections on March 28, 2026

Over time, I’ve noticed something about the way people come to astrology.

They don’t usually start with questions about their career, or even their life path. They start with relationships.

Why am I drawn to this person?
Why does this feel so intense?
Why does this keep happening to me?
Why can’t I let this go?

And the more I’ve worked with clients — and looked at my own life — the more I’ve realized that so much of what we’re actually trying to understand lives inside our relationships.

Love, attraction, attachment, conflict, longing, timing. The moments that stay with us, the people we can’t forget, the patterns that repeat — this is where astrology becomes real.

Relationships Are Where the Chart Comes Alive

Your birth chart isn’t just a static description of who you are. It’s a living system that gets activated through experience — and nothing activates it quite like another person.

That instant chemistry you feel with someone? That’s not random.

The way certain relationships feel easy, while others feel consuming or confusing? Not random either.

The people who feel like home… and the ones who completely destabilize you?

All of that can be understood astrologically.

Not in a way that removes the mystery or the magic — but in a way that gives you language for what you’ve already felt.

From General Astrology to Relationship Astrology

For a long time, my work has lived under the umbrella of Bonfire — a space for reflection, clarity, and reconnecting with yourself.

That’s still true.

But I’ve become increasingly interested in a specific part of that experience:

How we relate.

Why we’re drawn to certain people.
Why some relationships feel fated.
Why patterns repeat, even when we think we’ve outgrown them.
And what our charts reveal about how we love, bond, and attach.

This shift isn’t a departure — it’s a refinement.

It’s focusing more directly on the place where people tend to feel the most confusion, intensity, and transformation.

What This Means for My Work

Going forward, you’ll see more of a focus on:

This also means that my readings are becoming more centered around helping you understand your relationship patterns — not just in theory, but in a way that actually makes sense of your lived experience.

Because the goal isn’t just insight.

It’s clarity.

It’s understanding why something felt the way it did.
Why it unfolded the way it did.
And what it’s asking of you now.

The Bonfire Is Still Here

Bonfire hasn’t gone anywhere.

If anything, this shift brings it into sharper focus.

It’s still a space for reflection, conversation, and seeing yourself more clearly — just with a deeper emphasis on the relationships that shape your life.

Because for most of us, that’s where the real questions live.

If You’ve Felt This Too

If you’ve ever found yourself asking:

Why do I keep ending up here?
Why did that feel so real?
Why can’t I let this go?
What is this relationship actually about?

You’re not alone.

And you’re not imagining it.

There are patterns here. There is timing. There is meaning.

And astrology is one of the clearest ways I know to understand it.
